The permanent exhibition in Ecomuseum Batana, called “muòstra” in the Rovinj dialect, covers an area of only a hundred square meters, including the entrance counter with a souvenir shop. The exhibition is multimedia, with short and concise accompanying texts complemented by various visual elements such as museum objects, drawings, archival and contemporary photographs, films, projections, and interactive displays.
Ecomuseum Batana is a unique example of the innovative use of new technologies and interactive conversations with exhibition protagonists in the authentic Rovinj language, which is becoming increasingly rare on the streets of Rovinj.
In the background, you can hear the sounds of typical Rovinj fisherman songs – “bitinada”.
