The Visitor center Maraston – House of hidden history informs, educates, and enables visitors to spend quality free time in an original and interactive way.
The topics covered are incorporated into the space concept on four levels of the interactive Visitor center Maraston:
Ground floor: “Explore Vižinada” – general section with tourist information and souvenir shop
First floor: “Sweet Istria” – discover local traditions of making authentic cakes in this place, all nine species of them
Second floor: “Carlotta Grisi” – find out the story of one of the world’s most famous ballerinas
Third floor: “Kelly’s Heroes” – dedicated to a Clint Eastwood movie, filmed in Vižinada
Opening hours:
June – September from Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 15:00, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: closed
October – May: on request and with prior notice
