Overview & Description
The private sunrise dolphin watching tour is the most spectacular dolphin watching you can experience in Rovinj.
After 20 to 30 minutes of navigation, we’ll approach the fishing boats while they are pulling out the fishing net. The dolphins get excited by the huge amount of fish, and they are circling around the net, trying to grab some fish.
This is the reason why they are so numerous during this private sunrise dolphin watching tour, and it’s very common to see dolphins jumping and passing close to or even under our boat. While you are watching the dolphins and fishermen at work, the sun will rise behind the hills, making this experience even more memorable. After approximately 45 to 60 minutes, we’ll head back, and you will enjoy the view of the charming Rovinj old town from the sea.

The tour is not available during full moon. In case we don’t see dolphins the customers can join us free of charge on the next available tour. This activity requires a minimum of 1 person and has a maximum capacity of 12 persons onboard. Different pick up and drop off locations are possible: Dolphin dock station (near ACI marina), Amarin pier (where the taxi boat stops), Katarina island (north pier – where the ferry stops), Red island (north pier – where the ferry stops).
Speedboat, skipper, fuel, drinks onboard (water, Coca Cola, Fanta, iced tea)
Gratuity
Not suitable for pregnant women, wheelchair users, or people prone to seasickness
Children under 3 years old can join the tour for free
Free cancellation up to 48 hours in advance
Before the tour starts: in case of bad weather (wind over 7m/s and/or rain over 2mm/h) the tour will be canceled and 100% refunded
During the tour: in case of bad weather (wind over 7m/s and/or rain over 2mm/h) the customers will be 100% refunded
Wear long-sleeved clothes and/or a jacket because it’s cold early in the morning at sea
