Nice to meet you! I’m Romina Kuharić, a licensed tour guide and owner at Rovinj Guide. I offer local guidance in my authentic mode, which I call “history-telling”. I’m a tour guide with much experience, personal development, and fun since I started working as a tour guide long ago.

I combine my love for foreign languages and cultures with my passions for history, archaeology, and local tradition by offering authentic individual tours for travelers visiting my beautiful and history-rich area. When I’m not guiding, I’m a teacher in the local Italian school, teaching English to small kids and enjoying their authenticity. I love walking in nature and living in close contact with it. I’m a history and heritage interpreter and love theatre, music, and personal development strategies. I hope to plant some vegetables this year and travel more with my teenage son.

On my tours or, as I call them, friendly walks with history-telling, I wish to show you Rovinj, Pula, or Bale and tell you stories, explain the places through my eyes, helping you connect and immerse into local history and heritage. I want you to experience the multicultural heritage we Istrian people are fond of and our pride to live in such a beautiful part of the world.

You will get to know these cities to the point where you feel at home – connected with the culture, its past and present. I will get to know and understand you to have a new story together.

I like interacting with my guests, so I don’t put together people with different interests and people who don’t know each other, and that’s why I give individual and tailor-made tours only for you and the people who travel with you.
